Hypnotherapy is a natural state of relaxed inner focus and can offer an effective treatment to help with a wide variety of issues such as distressing thoughts, feelings, fears and emotions including stress, anxiety, depression, exam nerves, jealousy, guilt, anger, inadequacy, low self-esteem or confidence. There may be something else that just doesn’t feel quite right that you’d like to resolve.
I provide a safe and confidential space to explore what is troubling you and use a variety of tools to help you achieve your desired outcome enabling you to feel happier and more fulfilled with a sense of inner calm and peace.
Hypnosis feels a bit like daydreaming or being engrossed in a good book. Do you ever drive somewhere and wonder how you got to your destination? Another example is the time we are waking or going to sleep. Most clients find it a pleasant and deeply relaxing experience.
Hypnotherapy is like driving your car and having a passenger giving you directions. If you feel comfortable with and trust your passenger, you are more like to follow their directions. You always have the choice to follow their direction or go your own route. It is the same in hypnotherapy.
People that volunteer for stage hypnosis are carefully selected and are happy to ‘perform’. No one can be made to do anything that they don’t want to do and have the choice to come out of hypnosis whenever they want.
The initial session is up to 90 minutes and each subsequent session is approximately 60 minutes. I normally recommend 3-4 sessions, but this may increase depending on your personal circumstances.
I offer a free of charge 30-minute consultation where we can discuss the goals you are working towards and to make sure that I’m the right therapist for you.

If you book a session with me and cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full fee will be charged.
